Our Breeding Ethics
The Principles That Guide Our Program
1. No Overbreeding
We strictly follow AKC guidelines and never overbreed our dogs. Each breeding female has limited, carefully planned litters with ample recovery time between pregnancies. Our dogs are bred for quality, not quantity.
2. Comprehensive Health Testing
All our breeding dogs undergo extensive health screening including:
- Cardiac examinations by board-certified veterinarians
- Patella (knee) evaluations
- Annual eye exams by veterinary ophthalmologists
- Genetic testing for breed-specific conditions
- Regular dental care and monitoring
3. Family-Raised Socialization
Unlike commercial breeding facilities, all our puppies are born and raised in our home. They receive daily handling, exposure to household sounds, and interaction with children and other pets. This early socialization creates well-adjusted, confident Chihuahuas.

We maintain a lifelong relationship with every puppy we produce. Our health guarantee and ongoing support ensure that if any owner can no longer care for their Chihuahua at any point in its life, we will take the dog back or assist in rehoming.
